Important Notice

 

We are a volunteer-run charity whose sole purpose is to raise funds in support of the Norfolk Animal Care Center (NACC).

 

We are not affiliated with the operations of NACC. For questions regarding animals currently housed at NACC or previously adopted from the facility, you must contact them directly at 757-441-5505.

 

Do not contact us to report animal abuse, neglect, or sick or injured animals. Doing so delays appropriate intervention. These reports must be directed to the Norfolk Animal Protection Unit at 757-441-5610 or to your local animal control agency.

 

If your pet is missing, please refer to these available pet resources. We do not have information on the whereabouts of lost animals or animals that have been turned into any shelter.

If you have a wildlife concern: racoons, birds, rabbits, etc., please refer to these wildlife resources. 

 

To report a deceased animal in the street or at the curb line, please call Waste Management at 757-664-6510. Disposal of deceased animals on private property is the responsibility of the property owner/resident.

 

Again, we kindly emphasize: Please do not contact us regarding any of the above issues. While we care deeply, we are not equipped to assist with them.
